What we collect
The professional contact details of the clinic and its users (name, email, phone, address, licence number), orders placed, and the technical logs needed to secure the clinic account.
Patient data
We never ask for a patient's name, date of birth or contact details. You enter a reference of your choice (initials, file number). The prescription is kept only to manufacture, warrant and remake the lenses, then for our accounting obligations.
Where data is hosted
With our cloud hosting providers (Vercel and Neon), in data centres located in North America, in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell or rent any data, and our processors (hosting, email, payment) are bound by contract to the same confidentiality obligation.
Your rights (Law 25)
You may request access to, correction or deletion of the personal information we hold by writing to privacy@laboptik.ca. The privacy officer answers within 30 days.
Cookies
The site uses only a session cookie for the clinic account and a language cookie. No advertising cookies.
